Day chartering around Aruba

We had the best and the biggest sailing yacht of Aruba and we sailed with passengers from all over the world. We got school-classes, politicians, wedding parties, lots of tourists, we got miss Colombia, we had Kuko and Koko, Lenny, Jenny, Benny and Henny, Joke, Jan, Jackoe and Mellie, you name them. Aruba had plenty of wind (20-35knts) so Monsoon was top class. (A1) We had a 5-hour weekly trip to view the coast of main land Venezuela. 5 times a year we did a long weekend trip to Punto Fijo, the main port of peninsula Paraguana in Venezuela. We cruised around the whole of the Caribbean Sea. Away from Aruba; we mostly followed the Venenezuelan coastline to the east, to the beautiful Venezuelan islands like Aves, Roques, Tortuga, Testigos. See CHART We started charters from Aruba to Aves, and till today we are the only ones doing that because it is faraway and it can be rough.

We handed out two million of these promotion flyers from year 1996 to 2000 (below)
We must have made more than 600 charter trips from the marina to so called Californian Lighthouse on the north western point of the island Aruba. Great sailing here! We've been enjoying these trips, and learned a lot about Monsoon's behavior and sailing abilities.

Lots of trips to the islands AVES, Curacao, Bonaire,
and the Peninsula Paraguana, with her friendly and warm capital PUNTO FIJO

Sailing yacht monsoon is a great yacht for cruising around aruba. Lots of space, in the shade or in the sun, aft or forward on the teak decks or relax in the shady pilot house.
