The registration / notary / legal costs will be for the buyer. Monsoon can be brought back to USA registration as she has been registered in the USA untill 1993. For New Zealand and Australien buyers there exist advantages from the previous New Zealand registration.
The ship is presently owned by a low-tax off-shore company based on Curacao in the Dutch West Indies and she carries the Dutch tricolor. For an additional US$ 10,000 any private person or any company of whatever nationality could buy all the shares of this company and in this way gain the ownership of this legal structure including vessel Monsoon, with licenses, registration, bookkeeping, guarantee of loans and claims and its tax-advantages. If you do this. the sale agreement is limited to a simple notary document that transfers the shares of the company, cost approx 500 U$$. If your are a business owner there are plenty of advantages that you can gain with this so-called off-shore company. You migth need a tax consultant to inform you.
